Here in our own words are some of the
results of the Conde Nast Traveller
awards for the past year.

Now that’s out of the way here are some
of the CNtraveller reader awards for the
year 2009.
The most Here, in our own words, are
some of the results of the Conde Nast
Traveller Magazine awards for the
favorite country turns out
to be (drum roll please) Italy. This is
followed by New Zealand, Turkey,
Australia and France. There are 15
countries on the entire list if you care
to look.
Out of the 20 Islands
numbered Sicily came first, the Maldives
second, Thailand’s Phuket finished
eighth, and Sardinia 17th.
Then we go to Hotels. In
the category Europe, Asia Minor and the
Russion Federation Italy took 3 of the
first 4 places with the Four Seasons in
Firenze taking the first prize.
In Asia and the Indian subcontinent the
best hotel according to CNTraveller
readers is the Rambagh Palace in Japur,
India. The top bunch includes a huge
group from Thailand and a slightly
smaller bunch of Malaysian hotels
In the Spa category the
Zara Spa in Jordon was first and the
Chiva Som in Hau Hin Thailand was number
