Three days
in Vienna Austria
To wrap up my three month stay
in Europe I departed for
Vienna, Austria
where I would be for the next few days before my
trip back to the states.
I had been to Vienna once before (while visiting
with my friend Katrina in Slovakia– click

about our time in Bratislava), so for the first time
on my European trip I had a rough idea of what to
expect.
One could aptly describe Vienna as resembling a
bull’s eye; a road borders the circular-shaped city
center, outside which lies another extension of
city, bordered again by the infamous
Gürtel road,
Vienna’s informal red-light district. Interestingly
enough, the beauty of the city appears to diminish
proportionately to distance as one travels outside
the city center. Cobble stone roads and baroque
and gothic buildings transition to paved roads and
buildings of the more modern variety.
The entire story is here.
