Reasons why you
really should consider travel insurance
June 15, 10:34 AM
Regardless of who you travel with, you
have likely been offered some form of travel
insurance. Usually, the price is $100-$300 in
addition to the cost of the trip. So maybe you
think, "Why spend another hundred or so? I know I
don't need this."
The truth is - you never know. I have traveled with
EF Tours for the past three years and each year, I
have a student ask me if he or she should pay the
extra $115 for all-inclusive insurance. My response
is always the same: "Well, you probably will not
need it, but, honestly, you are spend over $2000 on
a trip. Why not pay the extra $115 just in case?"
Group leaders with EF get free medical and accident
insurance, but I still buy the baggage protection
for myself and I buy the full plan for my husband
when he travels as well.
