All aboard the
slow train from London to Athens
Greece is about as far as you can go
before dropping off the edge of Europe, and I'm
taking the slow route - three days by train and 58
hours of travel.

The French high-speed train, the
TGV, takes a stroll through fields of sunflowers and
vineyards...
On my 3,000-mile trans-continental journey, I'll
change trains six times, cram into the rush hour
commuter train to Zurich and be a lone passenger in
Transylvania.
